This estate is a treed property with a total area of 2.7 ha.  In the late 1920’s, Mieczyslaw Iwaszkiewicz, President of the Ostrowiec Steel Factory, belonging to the Central Industrial Region (aka COP), purchased this parcel of land from Countess Maria Wiekopolska.  Ten years later he transferred the property to his daughter, Janina Mostowicz.  In 1968 our family purchased the estate from Janina.

The property is a natural, mature pine forest.  The front portion of the land is flat and gradually slopes down at the very back.  A naturally formed valley divides the back of the property, creating two microclimates.  From the top of the hill, there is a beautiful view of the Kamienna River and the Swietokrzyskie Mountains.

Two houses are located at the center of the estate.  One house is a two story white brick home measuring 200 sq. meters.  Its roof is covered with ceramic shingles.  The other house is a one story wooden home measuring 40 sq. meters.

The property is connected to Zeromskiego Street, one of the main roads in the city of Ostrowiec.  The property is very unique because it is a forest situated in the heart of the city.
